Lindsay Abbott - lead vocalist and band leader

Peter Shepherd- Keyboards
Peter is a very well known and respected member of local jazz scene, regularly appearing in some bands, and depping in others, including Cambridge University Jazz Orchestra, Silicon Edge big band, Caxton Swing, Andy Bowie Quartet, Louise Hobbs Quartet, Ten to Ten and of course Lindsay Abbott and her band. Peter has covered every jazz style, from New Orleans to free.

Colin Hazel - Keyboards
Colin Hazel is a piano vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, graduating from Nottingham University with a Music BA. As well as playing with many bands over the last two years, Colin has a popular weekly residency at the Snug Bar in Cambridge. He has an impressive and varied repertoire covering pop, piano ballads, rock 'n'roll and, of course, jazz, and a fantastic style with it.

Jon Halton - double and electric bass
Musical genius Jon Halton (piano / bass) read Music at King’s College, Cambridge University, and works as an instrumental and theory tutor, arranger, piano accompanist and jazz musician in and around Cambridge. He is also a member of Simply Reeds, who play in and around the Cambridge area.

Derek Scurll- Drums

Sparkly eyed Derek studied at the Royal Academy of Music and at Cambridge University and knows a thing or two about jazz. During the week he teaches drums and piano, at night he can be found playing all styles of music from ceilidh to funk, and in his spare time he composes and arranges.

Laurence Evans - double bass
Laurence is one of the region's premier bassists. Not only that, his enthusiastic bobbing up and down as he plays is infectious.
